Teaching 5 classes & being in graduate school, running a production company for my academic department and freelancing, often has me tired, but I'm often fueled with Ghosts, kombuchas, or vanilla soy chai tea, and a passion for live storytelling.

I was the pit camera operator for the 2018 Bulldog Bash and was able to capture video of one of the rappers I have enjoyed listening to for years... T-Pain! Needless to say I was hyped! I often direct and technical direct the Bulldog Bash, but this year I wanted to be in the pit shooting the entire time. I was the only cam op to do so!

ABOUT the
designer
I am energized and passionate about creating stories utilizing multiple types of mediums to tell various live stories, be they theatre productions, concerts, sports or television shows. Although I came to telling stories through the lens of a theatre later in life, I believe the breath of my experience in graphic design, film, documentary, news, sports events and live concerts, provides a unique set of skills that aid my designs and storytelling.
I started teaching visual storytelling telling at the university level, full time in 2008, and have enjoyed experiencing new technology and watching students grow and discover talents they were unaware they possessed.
I believe that education takes place in and outside of the classroom, both for students and their teachers. I love learning and have enjoyed the MFA journey that I am currently on.
